Vehicle Rental Rules & Regulations

1. Driver age & eligibility

• The minimum age to rent is 25.
• Renters aged 21–24 may rent subject to an underage driver fee of $50 per day and the co-signature of a parent or legal guardian on the rental agreement.
• Renters under 21 are not eligible.

2. Driver's license & identification

• Each driver must present a valid, unexpired driver's license plus a second form of government-issued photo ID.
• The name on the license must match the reservation, the insurance card, and the payment method.

3. Additional drivers

• Every driver must be listed on the rental agreement and meet the same age, license, and insurance requirements as the primary renter. A per-driver fee may apply.
• Operation by an unlisted driver violates the rental agreement and may void coverage; the renter remains fully responsible for any resulting loss or damage.

4. Security deposit & payment

• A refundable security deposit of $200 is required at pickup. The deposit amount may vary by vehicle.
• A major credit card in the renter's name is preferred. Debit cards are accepted only with additional verification.
• On a credit card, the deposit is placed as an authorization hold; on a debit card, it is charged and refunded after return.
• The deposit is returned within 3–5 business days after the vehicle is returned in its pre-rental condition, less any charges described in these rules or the rental agreement.

5. Insurance requirements

• Renters must provide proof of full-coverage personal auto insurance, including collision and comprehensive coverage that extends to rental vehicles.
• Minimum liability limits: 100/300/100 ($100,000 bodily injury per person / $300,000 bodily injury per accident / $100,000 property damage).
• High-end vehicle rentals require minimum limits of 300/500/300 (e.g., a premium carrier such as Chubb or equivalent).
• Proof of insurance must be provided at booking and verified before the vehicle is released.

6. Vehicle inspection & damage

• A joint walk-around inspection is completed at pickup and again at return.
• What constitutes damage will be explained before the rental begins (see our damage guide).
• At both pickup and return, the renter and Buda Investment Group LLC will sign a damage documentation sheet recording the vehicle's condition.
• If damage occurs during the rental, the security deposit will be applied toward repair costs.
• If repair costs exceed the deposit or the renter's insurance deductible, the renter's insurance will be billed for the balance. By renting, the renter authorizes Buda Investment Group LLC to file a claim on the renter's behalf with the renter's insurance carrier to restore the vehicle to its pre-rental condition.

7. Accident, theft & breakdown reporting

• Report any accident, theft, damage, or breakdown immediately to Buda Investment Group LLC at (314) 333-3362, and to police as required by law.
• Provide a copy of the police report and the other party's name, contact, and insurance information.
• No repairs may be made without prior authorization.

8. Mileage

• Full-size SUVs (including the 2018 Nissan Armada): 100 miles per day maximum included. Miles beyond the allowance are charged at $0.45 per mile.
• Vehicles above the full-size premium SUV class: mileage allowance and overage charges vary by vehicle and are stated in the rental agreement.
• An optional unlimited-mileage add-on is available where offered.

9. Fuel

• Return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at pickup. Otherwise, refueling is charged at market price plus a $25 service fee.

10. Late returns

• A 59-minute grace period applies to the scheduled return time.
• After the grace period, late time is charged hourly; returns more than 3 hours late are charged a full additional day.
• Unreported late returns beyond 24 hours may be treated as unauthorized use of the vehicle.

11. Cleaning, smoking & pets

• Return the vehicle reasonably clean. Excessive dirt, stains, or debris will incur a cleaning fee of $75–$150.
• No smoking or vaping. Violations incur a $250 fee.
• Pets are allowed only with prior approval; a pet-hair cleaning fee may apply.

12. Tolls, tickets & violations

• The renter is responsible for all tolls, parking, speeding, and red-light citations, and towing or impound fees incurred during the rental.
• A $25 administrative fee applies to each toll, citation, or violation processed.

13. Towing

• Towing is permitted only with prior written approval.
• Nissan Armada maximum: 8,500 lb with a weight-distributing hitch, within hitch and tongue-weight ratings.
• The renter is liable for any towing-related damage.

14. Geographic limits & prohibited use

• Travel is limited to the continental United States. Travel to Mexico or Canada requires written approval.
• Prohibited: rideshare or delivery use (Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, etc.), peer-to-peer re-renting (Turo, etc.), off-roading, racing, towing for hire, and any illegal use.

15. GPS tracking disclosure

• Vehicles may be equipped with GPS/telematics used for theft recovery, safety, and mileage verification.

16. Cancellation & no-shows

• Free cancellation 48 hours or more before pickup.
• Cancellations within 48 hours of pickup are charged one day's rate. No-shows forfeit one day's rate.

17. Pickup & Delivery

• Pickup info will be provided at time of booking. Pickup and return location and times are confirmed with you when your reservation is finalized. After-hours returns require prior arrangement.
• Delivery available: we can also bring the vehicle to your location, such as the airport or another address, for a fee based on vehicle class.
• Delivery fee varies by vehicle class and is quoted at booking. Request delivery on the booking form or call 314-333-3362.

18. Pricing & Price-Match Guarantee

Rates start at $99/day and fluctuate with the market, benchmarked against full-size premium SUV rates at Enterprise.

Beat-by-10% guarantee: If you find a lower rate for a comparable rental, we'll beat it by 10%, subject to these terms:

• The quote must be from Enterprise, Hertz, National, Alamo, Budget, or another major national rental company.
• The vehicle must be of the same quality and class (full-size premium SUV or equivalent).
• The quote must be for the same rental dates and the same pickup area.
• The quote must be current, publicly available, and verifiable — shown to us on your phone (live website or app) before the rental begins.
• Comparison is on the base daily rate; taxes, fees, membership/corporate discounts, prepaid-only or promotional codes, and loyalty points are excluded.
• Cannot be applied after the rental has started or combined with other offers. Buda Investment Group LLC reserves the right to verify any quote.
